Glad to meet Kenric. If my memory does not fail me, he is from Nashville, Tennessee. i am poor at geography (he is a geography-major), so i check Wikipedia to make sure where it is. i am glad i didn't ask him about if the hurricane Gustav influenced his hometown, which would be geographically impossible...haha
Also nice to see Tracy, Jelly and Chrystal, long time no see. Kenric was the object of attention, we forgot to carry on our own small talk. Hope everyone had a cool summer.
Anita invited me to be an auditor in Kevin's class today. i had heard his name several times before, but this was the first time i met him. He talked about balance in a painting. He had a deep and low voice, and he talked slowly as if you could see the flow of his thought. i liked his thought-provoking style. After class, we walked out together and somehow talked about our ambitions. We had some common ground, but different approaches to face the society. It would be a long story to go into details. In short, i appreciate his effort to change and challenge some stagnant ideas of education. It's a pleasure to meet him. Thank you, Anita. i may not join his class, but i believe we will meet again.
